Get 'Em Girls' Presents: Girls' Bite Out

After months of planning, prayers, tears, arguments, joys and pains the Girls' Bite Out went down beautifully on Thursday, April 17th. We want to thank everyone that came out to support us and forgive us for not being on time...we were working hard y'all!

We will be adding photos daily starting Wednesday so check back regularly! If you see a picture of yourself that you would like for your collection, just hit us up!

Thank you God and everyone that had anything to do with the production of this event: Therese Nelson, Nadine, Noelle, Tashana, Darrylle, Eric, Sherise, Terrell Belin, and Johnny Nunez! All the editors that came out, the vendors: B. Star, Ally Marie, WEEN, Luxe Essential, Neero & Anna, and our sponsors!

Last but not least, thank you to everyone that attended...Let's Go Get 'Em! Oh, Etwin, thank you for the delicious and beautiful cake; it was definitely Get 'Em Girl Approved!

First I will start off with the positives about this event. I felt this event is a great idea. The vendors though a small selection were great. The music was good. The food was fair but just the fact that there was food was a plus in my book.

Now for the bad. You are correct there was nothing done on time. No venders when I got there. I understand that your volunteers didn’t show. When you are creating a large event such as this you should really prepare for the worst. The sign in area was too small to hold the attendees exiting the elevators.

We had to eat off of napkins from a roll because there were no plates. There were no garbage bins anywhere. The goodie bags which did have two very nice items had more paper then in my mailbox. It would have been nicer to receive more products from the vendor and/or sponsors.

This was only the first event and I know it’ll get better. I would definitely inform people about your events and attend others myself. More people more sponsors hopefully mean a better more organized event.
