Located in the heart of Greenwich Village this contemporary eatery exudes the flavor and aroma of an authentic Caribbean restaurant. Negril has ample seating that is divided into one spacious dining room and a lounge. The dinning room is accented with warm lighting and colors, giving it a true Caribbean feel. The lounge is cozy and complete with its own DJ and full service bar. The décor is stylish, casually elegant and intimate. The service is warm and friendly. Reservations are not required but I highly recommend you do make reservations especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

The menu is filled with delicious Caribbean flavor from Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Trinidad. Patrons like I return again and again for generous portions of fresh cuisine. This is some of the best Caribbean food you will find in the city. My menu highlights includes: Appetizer: Negril’s Sampler – veggie patties, codfish fritters, calamari escoveitch, sweet plantains, and dipping sauces. Entrées: Negril Oxtail & Lima Beans Stew served w/ rice and peas, Red Snapper served w/ rice and peas and Island Paella. Oh and please don’t forget to try a mango mojito or sangria…why not try both!

Enjoy
